37427 and 37411 lead a Burton-upon-Trent to Barmouth excursion along the Dyfi estuary at Frongoch on 19th May 1989. This shot was actually taken from the top of an oak tree, this shot but is longer possible (like may others on the Cambrian) due to the luxuriant and unchecked vegetation growth over the last 20 years or more.

During 1988, the 0620 (SO) Birmingham - Aberyswyth and the 10.10 SO Aberystwyth - Euston workings were diagrammed for a pair of Tinsley based Class 37s. on 21 May 1988, the first Saturday of the summer timetable, 37682 and 37683 round the curve at Commins Coch with the 10.10 ex Aberystwyth.
